HW day! We're being boring today and staying in to do homework. Tomorrow we have a group presentation and then Tuesday we have a paper to turn in.
On Wednesdays MariJesus cooks lunch for us and it is always delicious. She is Samira's mom. She's so cute. She's always shy when I first start talking to her but then she just talks and talks and talks. Today she made us awesome food and also made a traditional mayan meal called mucbipollo; It's pretty much a giant tamal wrapped and cooked in banana leaf instead of corn husk. It's usually only made for Hanal Pixan which is their Day of the Dead but Malena figured we should try it since we're learning about it in school. And also we have a ton of people to feed on mothers' day!
